El triángulo dorado de la India es un circuito turístico que conecta la capital nacional DelhiAgra y Jaipur. El Triángulo Dorado se llama así debido a la forma triangular formada por las ubicaciones de Nueva DelhiAgra y Rayastán en un mapa. Los viajes generalmente comienzan en Delhi y se trasladan al sur al sitio de Taj Mahal en Agra, luego al oeste, a los paisajes desérticos de Rajasthan.

El Triángulo Dorado es ahora una ruta muy transitada que proporciona un buen espectro de los diferentes paisajes del país. 1​ El circuito es de aproximadamente 720 km por carretera. Cada tramo es de aproximadamente 4 a 6 horas de conducción. El tren rapido Gatimaan también conecta Delhi con Agra y  el shatabdi a Jaipur.

    Day 1 Arrival at Udaipur in evening

    Day 2 Udaipur
    Today, enjoy a full-day tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, standing on the east bank of Lake Pichola. The balconies of the palace provide panoramic views of the Lake Palace Hotel and Jag Mandir on one side, and the city of Udaipur on the other. The paintings, mosaics, intricately carved 'chhatris' and pavilions make your visit to the City Palace, worth it.Thereafter, visit a picturesque garden, Sahelion ki Bari. You will visit also visit Jagat Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Ambika (an incarnation of Goddess Durga). In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, an artificial fresh water lake.

    Overnight in Udaipur.


    Day 3 Udaipur-Pushkar (287kms; 7hrs drive approx.)
    After breakfast you will drive to Pushkar; en route visit famous Dargah in Ajmer. Upon arrival you will check in at a hotel and relax. Later you will visit famous and holy Pushkar Lake; also visit the one and only Brahma Temple. Pushkar hosts the biggest cattle fair in India. Overnight in Pushkar.


    Day 4 Pushkar-Jaipur (145kms; 3hrs drive approx.)
    After breakfast you will drive to Jaipur; check in at a hotel and relax. Later in evening you will enjoy dinner at Choki Dhani village in ethnic Rajasthani style. 
    Overnight in Jaipur.

    Day 5 Jaipur
    After breakfast you will enjoy a full-day sightseeing trip of Jaipur, also known as the ‘Pink City’… it is famous for its colorful culture, forts, palaces, and lakes. The old city of Jaipur is painted pink, which gives it a magical glow. Visit the Amber Fort… a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The best way to explore the fort is to ride up to it on elephant back (pay on your own); en route, stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” This pink sandstone structure with its ornately carved latticework windows, housed royal ladies.

    Later, visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, comprising geometric devices for measuring time.

    Overnight in Jaipur


    Day 6 Jaipur-Agra (235kms; 5hrs drive approx.)
    After breakfast drive to Agra; en route visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by the Emperor Akbar and is home to many historical buildings. Akbar wanted to make Fatehpur Sikri his headquarters; however, he had to abandon it due to shortage of water. It is the best example of the amalgamation of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti enshrines the burial place of the Sufi saint who lived a religious life here. Today, Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World heritage site. On arrival check in at a hotel and relax at hotel. Overnight in Agra.

     

    Day 7 Agra-Delhi (205kms; 4hrs drive approx.)
    Today, explore the city of Agra.

    History says, Agra was founded by Sultan Sikander Lodi in 1504. But it flourished much later under Mughal patronage. If it's Agra, Taj Mahal (closed every Friday) has to be your halt. The white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal on the banks of Yamuna, is the ultimate epitome of love. Owing to beautiful Mughal architecture, Taj features among the Seven Wonders of The World. You can’t miss out on Agra Fort built of red sandstone, by Akbar.


    Later in afternoon drive to Jaipur en route visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by the Emperor Akbar and is home to many historical buildings.     Day 8 Delhi
    After breakfast you will proceed for full-day city tour of Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, which is the largest mosque in India, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. The courtyard of the mosque can hold about 25,000 worshipers. Enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi…noisy, chaotic and uniquely Indian. You will then visit the Red Fort (closed every Monday), which was constructed during the rule of Emperor Shah Jahan and served as the residence for the Mughal royal family. It continues to be significant even today, as every Independence Day, the Prime Minister makes a speech from its ramparts as the Indian flag is hoisted. Later, drive past President House and several other government buildings in Edwin Lutyen’s Delhi before you head to Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. This simple memorial marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.

    Thereafter, visit Humayun’s Tomb, commissioned by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562. It was the first garden tomb built in the Indian sub-continent where the Persian architect used red sandstone on a large scale. Later in the evening visit the Qutab Minar, which is the tallest brick minaret in the world; it was commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi.

    Day 9 Delhi departure 
    After breakfast you will be given transfer to Delhi airport to board flight for onward destination; henceforth your journey ends with sweet memories.
